This has to be one of the most time consuming and challenging pieces i've done in a long time. You don't realize how many colours are in one image until you analyse it properly (which is what i obviously had to do here).
Most challenging part = the face. Must've spent about 2 hours just on that, finally nailed it in the end though (well i think so anyway ).
Happy with the outcome - some of the blending could have been done a bit better though (mainly the gun).
Done in Photoshop and Painter.
Comments welcome

P.S. If you haven't played Gears of War i suggest you stop what you're doing and go and buy it now!
Awesome, gotta love Gears Of War, i enjoyed it so much i finished it 3 times and am going on for a fourth, fantastic piece of work!

Very well done, looks like painting. What type of brush did you mostly use? Oh and I would stop what I'm doing and buy GOW, but there's this hurdle of getting the X360 first
Keep it up

Hey, thanks for the comment I used the standard airbrush tool in photoshop to get all the base colours done, then I used different blender brushes in painter to obviously blend them together lol.
Thanks again
